A beautiful and original India travel poster with classic art deco graphics of the 1930's. Colors are very bright and pleasing with an amazing view of people picnicking with guides near the mountain range.

Matheran is a city and a Hill Station municipal council in Raigad district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The name Matheran means "forest on the head" (of the mountain).

The poster is archivally linen backed and ready for framing. We only have this one and have never had it or seen it before. Uncommon, and wonderful for those that have traveled or lived in this area.
