CONDITION: B, Linen Mounted, condition very good. Machine folds are apparent upon scrutiny, fold lines restored. These posters were machine folded and sent out to advertising agencies. Displays beautifully, a very uncommon piece of thirties art deco design.

NOTE: This Hungary modern modernist poster is by the 1930s-1940s moderne art deco photographer Emery P. Revesz Biro (1895-1975.) His photography is well known. This poster combines photography with lithography in a style known as photomontage, a very modern graphic style for it’s time, in fact cutting edge. Photomontage is the process of making a composite photograph by cutting and joining a number of other photographs or images. This features a railr or railroad train theme and girl rejoicing. Beautiful and ready for framing!
