NOTE: This interesting and wonderful art deco 20th century poster is for the graphic and modern art collector. It is a photomontage modern thirties design, combining two photo images with lithography, was considered very hip and futuristic at the time, and the design still stands today.

The same year this poster was produced by Robert Spreng, another artist John Heartfield used photomontage for political propaganda in Germany in his work entitled “The Meaning of the Hitler Salute” in November, 1932.

This Switzerland poster has the Graf Zeppelin and a small bi-plane airplane depicted, which add an industrial element. In small print on the Graf Zeppelin it reads, Graf Zeplin, +D-LZ127. The text on the left side reads, Information and free admission cards from Consulate General of Switzerland, New York, 468 Fourth St. Swiss Federal Railroads, New York, 475 Fifth Ave. A great original rail piece we have never seen before! We only have this one.
