1950's Cambridge British Antique Map Vintage Poster

This is a beautiful horizontal decorative pictorial map published in England in the fifties by Glen Freebairn & Associates for Pictorial Maps, Ltd.. The size is 24 × 20 inches, and the condition is beautiful, A condition, linen mounted, a lithograph.

The early printing is stunningly bright and clean, and depicts a complete historical map of Cambridge. England with each building and piece of medieval architecture explained in great detail. The surrounding border has a running scenes border of Cambridge highlights from  St Catherines, College, to Pembroke College, to various important bishops, queens, poets, reverends, ladys, physicists, kings, astonomers and etc from this area of Great Britian. It has shields of all the colleges, and the main text reads "Cambridge: "This immense & glorious work of fine intelligence..."

The poster has this text on bottom center edge: "Glen Freebairn & Associates for Pictorial Maps, Ltd., 4 Clements Inn, London W.C. 2 (Telephone Holborn 9941) Printed in Great Britain by Jesse Broad & Co.
