CONDITION: A-, Linen Mounted, beautiful, 2 very faint spots, must be scrutinized closely to see. does not affect the displaying of the poster at all.
This children’s poster series was first distributed during the WPA depression years era in American history, to further the incentive and well being of children. It was published in 1929 during the crash or fall of Wall Street, and then again in 1937-38, as a learning tool for children.
At the bottom is printed "Safety: The Hope of a Nation Poster Series." The poster depicts a bright yellow background with brown and red bold printed text: "Dogs are trained to lead the blind-so simple are the rules of safety." A wonderful old disability related piece distributed during the FDR Franklin Roosevelt Works Progress Administration era. We only have this one.
