These posters were printed for children`s educational and story telling tools for the thirties classroom. They were printed in England, UK. There were over 75 posters in the series all with different themes or places. This one with the theme of blacksmith work and horse shoe fitting on a beautiful Clydesdale Horse. The bottom has a running text of a toy horse and hay cart and the text “23. Shoeing the horse.”
Beautiful early litho pre WWII design, and in beautiful condition. Great for the equine or horse enthusiast, vet, veterinarian, black smith, farrier or those who just love horses! The poster is archivally linen backed and ready for framing. We only have this one.
