1932 Swiss Switzerland Zeppelin & Biplane original Antique Poster

AGE: dated 1932, lithograph.
ARTIST: Robert Spreng, graphic designer, poster artist, illustrator

NOTE: This interesting art deco 20th century poster is for the graphic and modern art collector. It is a photomontage modern thirties combining two photo images with lithography, was considered very hp at the time, and still is today….The same year this poster was produced by Robert Spreng, another artist John Heartfield used photomontage for political propaganda in Germany in his work entitled “The Meaning of the Hitler Salute” (November, 1932).

In this Switzerland poster depicted is the Graf Zeppelin and small bi-plane airplane which add an industrial feel to the design. In small print on the Graf Zeppelin it reads, Graf Zeplin, +D-LZ127. The text on the left side reads, Information and free admission cards from Consulate General of Switzerland, New York, 468 Fourth St. Swiss Federal Railroads, New York, 475 Fifth Ave. A great original piece we have never seen before! We only have this one.
