NOTE: This great horizontal poster states Dan Rice Circus was started in 1852 and this is the 84th year, thus it dates from 1936. It shows clowns, lions, tigers, elephants, trapeze artists, and advertises that the show is combined with Gentry Brothers Dogs and Ponies. Also Buck Sells Real Wild West Show. It features a drawing of the original old Daniel or Dan Rice (1823-1900) a very early American famous clown and circus innovator who changed the American circus into what it is today. See wiki article on him below. Dan Rice was born Daniel Mclaren. A great poster for a children`s room or child, and/or for the American circus collector. Beautiful and ready for framing!
