1986 Evolution of the Japanese Camera Poster
1986 Evolution of the Japanese Camera Poster
PRINTED BY: Dated1986 and signed D.N.
CONDITION: A, beautiful condition on cream colored fleck paper, beautiful printing and quality.
We found two of these at a camera show recently and think they are fabulous! We cannot find them anywhere online, and assume they were a small production by a Japanese firm. There is much Japanese text around edges and top.
A great graphic mid center of a 1920's era man with an early box camera, this poster chronicles Japan cameras from 1900 to 1986. An example of some cameras mentioned are:
1900: Sakura Stero Prano, Champion, Pearl Hand.
1910: Flex, Starwatch, Koroku, Lily Model II.
1920's: Pearlette, Neat Reflex, Idea Spring, Nifca Dox.
1930's: Hamond, Hansa Canon, Auto Keef, Meikai, Shinko, Rollei.
1940's: Peta, Bolty, Arco, Lord, Windsor, Aram Six, Airesflex, Koniflex.
1950's: Stereo Alpen, Panorax, Topcon, Nicca, Maniya, Hofman.
1960's: Ricoh Topcon, Olympus, Fujipet, Poloroid, Kowa.
1970's: Hasselbad, Yashica, Sakura, Canon, Ricoh, Mamiya, Zenza.
1980's: Nimsio, Enica, Minolta, Agfa, Contax, Hanimex, Fuji, Kodak
A great and uncommon camera history poster. We only have two found together, when gone, will never have again.
