This is an original poster print, from the 1940's WWII era, printed by the famous Electric Boat Company of New York. These images were used as part of the large advertising campaign from many popular magazines of the day. It has vibrant and color and is in wonderful condition, linen mounted. Note: This is not a reprint, but an original. 

The General Dynamics Electric Boat Company (GDEB) has been a builder of submarines and boats for the USN United States Navy for over 110 years, since 1899. The shipyard is located in Groton, Connecticut, Quonset Point, Rhode Island and New London, CT. These original WWII WW2 World war two era Elco poster prints are a set of stunningly printed images produced for the military war effort. 

This image is entitled "Sinking Japanese Ship from Official US Navy Photo through Periscope" and is printed in lush colors. It depicts a war scene of 2 Navy boys with a periscope, on an Ebco Submarine, firing at a ship with Japan flag on hull, hitting the target.

At print bottom it reads "Revenge in the Pacific." Please see others we have in this series here, all found together. Mint and ready for framing. We only have this one, rare and uncommon. We have never seen this poster before in all our travels.
