1950’s Mexico Antique Authentic Vintage Mexican Travel Poster
This is a beautiful poster of an old Mexican town featuring stunning architecture, with sunny blue clouds in the sky. The artwork and printing is wonderful and the scene is a classic art deco design with fonts, graphics, town center and classic design to match.
The poster artist, graphic designer or illustrator signature is Azzeola Juarez. Text on poster reads "Queretaro, Mexico, Departmento De Turismo, Secretaria de Gobernacion, Asociacion Mexicana de Turismo, Mexico D.F."
Wiki says: Querétaro, officially Free and Sovereign State of Querétaro is one of 31 states that, with the Federal District, comprise the 32 Federal Entities of Mexico. It is divided into 18 municipalities. Its capital city is Santiago de Querétaro. It is located in North-Central Mexico, in a region known as Bajío.
The poster was printed by the Mexican tourist bureau to encourage travel to Mexico. The poster is archivally linen backed and ready for framing. Absolutely beautiful A- condition, very minor crease bottom center, must be scrutinized closely to see. We wish all of our posters were in this condition.
We only have this one, and have never seen or had it before in our travels, freshly linen mounted, beautiful as see in pics. Ready for framing.
Size: 27 × 34 inches
