1956 Original Vintage Theosophy Poster
Felix Layton 1910-1991 was an English or British lecturer and educator in the Theosophical Society in America. He toured with his wife Eunice Layton and became a US citizen of the United States in 1952. In 1954, he and Eunice began their own lecture series and classes on Theosophy throughout America and Canada. They became directors of the Adyar, India School of the Wisdom. In 1977 they relocated to Ojai, California where Felix became the VP of the Krotona Institute, with support and work from Eunice. Together they published a book called Life, Your Great Adventure.
This is a great and original thick cardboard poster for one of their local events in Binghamton, Broome County, New York. Most likely it is one of the very few still in existence.
Text on poster reads:
Reincarnation, Fact or Fallacy?

Noted Theosophical Lecturers
Arlington Hotel, Binghamton
The Arlington was a famous Binghamton renaissance revival building, now demolished that was finished in 1888 and demolished in the 1960's. The dates on this piece refer to the year 1956. A rare and original theosophy piece found in Upstate NY. Possibly Eunice & Felix, now gone, helped us bring this to you!
Size: 11 x 14 on thick cardboard board
