This great old art deco Santa Fe train transportation poster was for the streamliner train. The scene is a open prairie New Mexico view of the red deco train 51, conductor leaning out of the window in his railroad hat and glasses.
Howard Fogg, 1917-1996, was considered on of the the world’s foremost railroad artists, and this is a piece we have not seen before. This came from a series of posters we acquired from a printing house in the early 1990's, hit this link to see the rest, 4 total, rare and never seen before in our poster travels. This is an original 1940’s horizontal vintage poster print, great for the rail collector, or a children’s room. Beautiful and ready for framing!
