This is a beautiful and richly printed horizontal decorative pictorial map published 1959. The size is 24 × 20 inches, and the condition is beautiful, A condition, linen mounted, a stunning American lithograph.
The artist is Everett Henry, prolific teacher and muralist, mural painter, who did commercial art in the 1930-40's in America. He worked beautifully with light, as seen in these images. Henry started a map series in 1953 until he died in 1961. This is one of his literary pieces for "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" by Mark Twain and depicts wonderful scenes of riverboats, historical scenes, with an overlay map of Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas and Mississippi. A very beautiful and rare map we have never seen in our travels before. Condition is beautiful, linen mounted.
