1940's Pop Kola WW2 Bomber Airplane Aviation Soda Poster Sign

Regular price $0.00

1940 WWII Bomber Soda Pop Kola American Advertising Vintage Poster

SOLD

This mint cardboard beverage poster is from the world war two, WWII era. It printed on a thin cardboard, would frame well. The condition is mint. It will be sent flat in a clear plastic rigid sleeve, ready for framing.

We were able to find some historical Info on web. POP KOLA was a Coca Cola imitation, circa WWII, that was too close to the actual Coke formula. POP KOLA was made to cease production. It was bottled by Reitz Bottling Company of Siler City, NC, also known as called Reitzel Beverage Company. The Reitzel’s most popular drink was probably “3 Cent Copper”, resembling Coca Cola. In addition, another product, Gold Dot soda, was also bottled by Reitzel Beverage Company.

Condition is mint, clean and vibrant. Is the plane an actual model of a warplane, or an artist’s “interpretation” of an old art deco bomber plane? Do you know?

A wonderful aviation, airplane, military related original piece. Great for a WW2 buff or a children’s room. We only have this one. We do have another Pop Kola sign with an art deco globe on our site here.

Size: 13.5 × 10.25 inches
