This is a great old original antique broadside advertising sign for Hollis' Compound Candy Lozenges which was meant to hang in an early American general store. Text on sign reads: "Hollis' Compound Bonest and Wild Cherry Cough Candy for Coughs, Colds, Influenza, Hoarseness, Bronchitis & Asthma. For Sale Here."
This is an early American original broadside medicine poster boldly printed in beautiful early letterpress on an early orange coated paper stock with a light sheen. It has a fancy Victorian era border, and a wonderful graphic use of a mix of early fonts. It was meant to hang in a store to announce the Hollis product line. We only have this one.
Size: 8 x 10 inches
