NOTE: James Stephen "Jim" Hogg (1851-1906) Born near Rusk, Texas, Hogg was a Texas lawyer and statesman, and the Texas-born Governor of Texas. Hogg is often remembered for naming his daughter Ima Hogg, an odd name which derived from a poem written by James' brother. The rumor that she had a sister named "Ura" is an urban legend.
This political tobacco poster is a wonderful piece of American advertising and early Texas history poster. The horizontal format suggests use as an insert in trolley, train or bus advertising. Unlined paper poster, ready for framing. We only have this one.
