This wonderful Victorian era graphic poster was printed to promote the American literary magazine called Century, and their recent article on the crowning of Czar Nicholas II of Russia. The Century Magazine was a monthly popular magazine published in the 19th and early 20th century, ceasing publication in 1930. Each month, a poster would be printed as a promotional, this one, the month of May and the crowning of a Russian czar. A beautiful piece, historical, and one of our favorites. The poster is archivally linen backed. We only have this one. Rare. Ready for framing.
Size: 14 × 21 inches
