This turn of the last century poster was given as a premium for buying certain products, notably White Cloverine Brand Salve. The format, with no actual product advertising, is generally called a parlor print, very popular during the Victorian era and turn of the last century.
Here we see a child holding a bouquet of flowers, as in red roses as her beautiful English Setter, Labrador retriever or Spaniel dog takes a guarding stance above her. A beautiful piece with the title on bottom "Loving Friends". Signed on bottom, Wilson Chemical Company, Tyrone, Pennsylvania PA and dated 1916. The poster is archivally linen backed and ready for framing. We only have this one.
