This smaller finely printed poster depicts a the current fashion style for the year 1918. The Meyer and Company of Chicago Illinois were wholesale merchant tailors, and “Meyer Made Means Higher Grade”.
A dapper man sporting a cane and hat makes him a “man about town” during the WW1 era. He is wearing Meyer’s No. 42, a "Regulation Two Button Sack with rounded Corners. There is a young girl eyeing him on the beach behind, in her Victorian era swimsuit. A beautiful early fashion piece. Do you know this Meyer family business genealogy wise? We only have this one.
