This near east, middle east political poster has a very classic and haunting Image of a young Middle Eastern Girl holding her arms out in a plea for help. She wears a beautiful scarf in red tones, and the colors are beautiful muted and classic reds, marroons, mauve pinks and greys.

Ethel Franklin Betts Bains was a prolific illustration designer who did many covers for james Whitcomb Riley books among others. Her work is beautiful and sensitive. This original Bains poster is archivally linen backed and ready for framing. It is striking and unusual in its use of gold inks. We only have this one.
