This near east, middle east political poster has a very classic and haunting Image of a young Middle Eastern Girl holding her arms out in a plea for help. She wears a beautiful scarf in red tones, and the colors are beautiful muted and classic reds, marroons, mauve pinks and greys.

Ethel Franklin Betts Bains was a prolific illustration designer who did many covers for james Whitcomb Riley books among others. Her work is beautiful and sensitive.
