1920 Heckers Flour or Bakery Supply Vintage Food Poster

AGE: c. 1920’s lithograph
CONDITION: A, Linen Mounted

This great early horizontal trolley size food poster depicts a yummy frosted coconut cake with thick white frosting and a fresh loaf of bread advertising Hecker Flour. George V. Hecker ran a large flour mill called Croton Flour Mills in NY. In 1882 they burned to the ground in a spectacular fired as well as 18 other mills. This is a a great and uncommon antique American advertising food poster for the Hecker Company.

The horizontal format suggests use as an insert in trolley, train or bus advertising. Great for any kitchen, restaurant, culinary institute, or bakery or as a gift for your favorite cook or baker. We only have this one vintage poster, uncommon. This piece would have been hung in an iconic old American general or old grocery store.
