This large and detailed illustrated pictorial Eastern States American map is an example if fine art in map design. Each of the states depicted illustrates president’s birthplaces or specific historical information about the state. It includes the Great Lakes, Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. Illustrations also include ships, battles, fish, Boston Tea Party as well as many other historical references and notes in a running decorative illustrated border.
Beautiful condition, very classic design and typography for the vintage and antique map collector. This was printed in 1929, year of the Wall street crash. The poster is archivally linen backed and ready for framing. We only have this one, uncommon.
