Age: dated 1931, this is an original Jo Mora carte, print, poster. This Mora map was originally printed in black & white in 1931. It was reissued by the Yosemite Park & Curry Company in color 1941 and 1949.

Joseph Jacinto "Jo" Mora (1876-1947) was an American cartoonist, illustrator and cowboy, who lived with the Hopi and wrote extensively about his experiences in California. He was an artist and historian, cartoonist, sculptor, painter, photographer, illustrator, muralist and author. This is his beautiful and fun decorative figural map of Yosemite National Park, printed in 1931. The poster is archivally linen backed and ready for framing. We only have this one, from our personal collection.
