This interesting WPA era poster advertises a North American Wild Life Conference in Washington DC Feb 3-7th 1936. Included in the text are numbers with each animal listed, as in snow goose, Pin tail sprig, ducks, doves, wilson snipe, jack snipe, deer, hens, quail, grouse, pheasant, hunt birds, rabbits, hawk, salmon, turkey and others. Corresponding numbers can be found near the animal in the picture. This poster charts nature using a wonderful wild life picture. “Please Give us a Break.”
This poster has an advertising plea to ask your railroad agent for special rates to go by rail to the conference. Would be wonderful for a hunter, railroad enthusiast, animal lover or a children’s room. It is an uncommon and Rare American piece we have never seen before, in excellent condition.
