NOTE: This great old art deco blue train transportation poster for the Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac Virginia Line. 9,000 of these diesel locomotive engines were produced between the 1930-60’s. The Electromotive Division of General Motors built the popular E and F units, dominating the diesel field. Running text at poster bottom reads: 5400 H.P. Diesel Passenger Locomotive..Designed and built by Electro-Motive Division, General Motors, LaGrange, Illinois U.S.A. This is an original 1940’s horizontal vintage poster print of a beautiful blue train, great for the American rail collector, or a children’s room. Beautiful and ready for framing.
