This wonderful antique Navy shipping poster has been in our collection for years. Text reads: “Your Navy-First Line of Attack, Navy Day, October 27, Scene on Flight Deck of Modern U.S. Navy Aircraft carrier." It is very vibrant, and graphically strong. John Philip Falter produced over 200 covers for the Saturday Evening Post, and was a nationally known painter, magazine illustrator, and artist. He also designed numerous WWII posters.
A great poster for any historical collector or military buff. It depicts a US Navy ship nautical boating or boat flight deck with a WW2 bomber plane or airplane aboard. The poster is freshly archivally linen backed and ready for framing. We only have this one.
