This great smaller horizontal poster was issued for education purposes to show how ice cream is stored in large storage rooms. The advertising byline reads “Storing ice Cream in Cold Room”.
It was published by the The National Dairy Council, Chicago, and depicts an ice cream factory worker in full cold gear loading ice cream on a shelf in a large walk in freezer, with ice cream tubs nearby. There is a conveyor belt taking the ice cream out of the factory. He has a machine age type leather hat on, and it’s a great and cool industrial forties art deco piece, ready for framing. We have never seen it before and only have this one.
