Stan Galli was born in 1912 and was a California graphic artist and illustrator for True, Country Gentleman, Sports Afield, Saturday Evening Post, Readers Digest, Weyerhaueser Timber, paintings for United Airlines (travel posters in the 1950-60`s as seen here), General Motors, Pacific Telephone, Chicago Bridge and Iron, and the Seattle Times.
This is a beautiful image of a priest at a mission in Southern California, feeding the birds. Southern California encompasses Los Angeles, San Diego, San Bernardino, and Riverside. Galli’s posters have become very collectible and desirable. The poster is archivally linen backed and ready for framing. We only have this one.
