Washington, DC, U.S. General Services Administration. These posters were issued by the US General Services Administration in 1987 to commemorate the Works Projects Administration and its 1935-1943 Golden Anniversary. They were purchased thru the Superintendent of Documents, Wash DC.
This one highlights an abstract painting called "Composition" 1935 by WPA artist Stuart Davis. Text under image: Transferred from the US General Service Administration through Evander Childs High School to the National Museum of American art, Smithsonian Institute.
